Our evidence-based trainings are for both individuals and groups in the Central Texas Area who want to be equipped with the tools to prevent trafficking in their community. We offer anything from one-hour informational workshops to in-depth 8 session training courses for nurses and counselors. All workshops and trainings focus on awareness as the first step to prevention and equip the users with the tools to spot and stop trafficking.
Community Training
PACT has been successfully training churches, Rotary Clubs, businesses, and more for 5 years now. These trainings can accommodate any audience and vary from student-led presentations to panels of subject matter experts and anything in-between. |
Corporate Certification
This training for corporate employees focuses on how human trafficking effects supply chains and organizations. It guides employees through the facts of human trafficking as well as the laws and regulations intended to protect victims. This training is a backbone to being recognized and complaint with existing Modern Day Slavery laws. The training can include: self-defense classes, situational awareness training, train the trainer instruction and evidence/research based case studies |
Adult Addictions: Pornography
Pornography is one of the leader factors in the rise of child trafficking. Nowadays the average age for pornography addiction is 10 years of age. After several years of research with physiologists, professional licensed counselors, porn addicts and survivors, PACT developed a strategic relationship with Dr. Laurel Mellon and her teams work at EBT (Emotional Brain Training). We believe the XP online training led by licensed counselors is the most successful and most effective course available to stop this addiction. For further information click here: |
Community Giving Events
We host community giving events several times a year to provide relief to high-risk groups in our community. This past year, each year PACT provides 500 Little Red Bags to area shelters and hospitals for Valentines Day. These Little Red Bags are not only seen by the children they are intended for, but also their care givers, family members and others impacting another more than 1,500 people!
We also packed 345 bags of supplies with a National Human Trafficking Hotline card for our homeless community members. We always have volunteer opportunities for these events. Sign up to get involved today!
